Description

Goal: To provide an overview of pain experienced by patients undergoing maintenance dialysis.

Objectives:

  1. Describe the various types of pain experienced by patients with end stage renal disease undergoing maintenance dialysis.
  2. Describe patients' perceptions of how their pain is being managed.
  3. Identify strategies used by patients in managing pain.
