Goal:To provide an overview of sexuality and sexual function for men and women with end stage renal disease who are on dialysis.
Objectives:
List the instruments used to determine the quality of life and sexual function of individuals with end stage renal disease who are on dialysis.
Discuss findings regarding sexual function among individuals with end stage renal disease as presented in this literature review.
Explain ways nephrology nurses can help patients with end stage renal disease who are on dialysis address concerns regarding their sexual function and quality of life.
