Christine Thies Berke MSN, APRN-NP, CWOCN-AP, AGPCNP-BC

Christine Berke MSN APRN-NP CWOCN-AP is a Nurse Practitioner in the Wound Ostomy & Burn Service Section at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. She is the full time provider in the Wound, Ostomy & Burn Clinic and has been instrumental in expanding the outpatient services there in the past 10 years. She is currently the Secretary for the National Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Society. She previously completed a 5 year volunteer term on the Advanced Practice Exam Committee of the WOCNCB, serving as chair for 2 years. During this tenure, she helped to develop, write and launch the 3 inaugural certification exams for Advanced Practice nurses in the fields of wound, ostomy and continence nursing. She has been a nurse for 36 years, a WOC nurse for 18 years and an APRN for 11 years. She has published several WOC related articles in peer reviewed journals and co-authored 2 book chapters. She is passionate about WOC nursing care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 5 kids, 1 grandchild and camping with family.
