Danielle Soranno MD

Dr. Soranno is a pediatric nephrologist at the University of Colorado, Children's Hospital Colorado. She graduated from medical school at Case Western Reserve University in 2007 and received her pediatric residency training at the University of Colorado and then her fellowship training in pediatric nephrology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. After fellowship, she returned to the University of Colorado in 2013 as an assistant professor in the departments of pediatrics, bioengineering and medicine. She is an NIH-funded investigator and performs translational research in renal bioengineering. Her research interests and expertise are in the long-term renal and systemic sequelae of acute kidney injury. She is also the co-founder of the Pediatric Kidney Injury & Disease Stewardship Program at the University of Colorado. PKIDS' mission is to improve the kidney health and care of pediatric patients through clinical quality initiatives, research and education.
