Kathryn Ward DNP, MSN, RN, PHCNS-BC

Kathie is a triple Wahoo from the University of Virginia…..earning her DNP in 2016. She is the Clinical Operations Manager for the Cardiology Clinics and Cardiac Pulmonary Rehab at UVAMC. She is adjunct faculty at UVA SON. She is a member of ANA, VNA and VADNP Association and the Doctors of Nursing Practice, Inc. She has been a speaker at national and local meetings on Quality of Patient Care and presents posters on her work with reducing admissions following an acute myocardial infarction.  Her interest in Quality of Care goes back to her days in Home Health.  She is a strong proponent of work life balance among nurses.
