Christopher Daigle MD, FRCSC

Assistant Professor of Surgery, Cleveland Clinic Akron General

Dr. Daigle is a fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon from Cleveland Clinic Akron General. He received his medical degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada and went on to complete his residency in general surgery at the University of Toronto. Following his residency, Dr. Daigle moved to Cleveland to complete a two-year fellowship in bariatric surgery at Cleveland Clinic, where he trained on utilizing the latest technology in minimally invasive weight-loss surgery.

Dr. Daigle is also an accomplished researcher in the field of bariatric surgery with over 60 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and meeting presentations. He currently holds the title of Assistant Professor of Surgery at Northeast Ohio Medical University, as well as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Toledo COM. He is also an active member with the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the Obesity Action Coalition, and the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract.
