Shunte Moon PhD, MPH

Dr. Shunte Moon is contracted Dialysis Epidemologist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Divison of Healthcare Quality Promotion. As the Dialysis Epidemiologist, he is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of NHSN for the dialysis team. Shunte is from Athens, Georgia, where he received both his masters and doctorate degree in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from the University of Georgia College of Public Health. As an infectious disease epidemiologist, he offers over 8 years of professional leadership & training, clinical care, research, and prevention efforts in reducing healthcare associated infections.
