Mary Perrecone MS, RN, CCRN, CNN, CCU

Mary Perrecone has been a registered nurse for 17 years working in critical care and specializing in cardiac and nephrology. Mary has held positions of staff nurse, critical care nurse specialist, and currently is the nurse manager in a tertiary academic center. She manages an 18 bed coronary care unit, 5 station pediatric outpatient dialysis and 10 bed acute adult dialysis unit. Mary has her critical care and nephrology nurse certifications and was awarded the Excellence in Nephrology Nursing Management during the ANNA 40th Symposium. Mary has lectured locally, regionally, nationally on the topics of hemodynamics monitoring in the hemodialysis patient, healthy work environment, and survey readiness.

She is the former chair of the ANNA Administrative Special Interest Group and has reviewed and published in critical care, staff development, and nephrology. Mary is a member of the Northeast Tri-State Chapter and loves reading and writing reviews for leadership books to share with her colleagues.
