Kathe LeBeau BA

Kathe LeBeau is a home hemodialysis patient of five years and a kidney transplant candidate. A passionate patient advocate for ever- improving access to and quality of care for those like herself with CKD, she feels it is critically important that the voice of patient experience be shared with both fellow patients and renal professionals. Kathe serves on the IPRO NY-Network 2 Council and the UNOS Patient Affairs Committee. She has testified before the FDA Advisory Committees and CMS on issues related to the bundling of dialysis care and anemia management. Additionally, Kathe has served on the National Quality Forum ESRD Steering Committee for New Renal Quality Measures and Renal Measure Maintenance. Kathe and her husband/treatment care partner are the founders and facilitators of the Capital NYS Kidney Patient and Family Support Group.
