Kenneth Andreoni MD

Dr. Ken Andreoni is a pediatric and adult multi-organ abdominal transplant surgeon at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. His faculty academic appointments were previously at the University of Florida, The Ohio State University and the Universities of North Carolina and Arizona. He completed a transplant surgical fellowship at The Ohio State University, general surgery training and transplant research fellowship at Johns Hopkins University Hospital and medical school training at Yale School of Medicine. Ken has been involved in UNOS National Committees for over fifteen years, and was a former chair of the Kidney Committee and president of OPTN/UNOS during the implementation of the Kidney Allocation System in 2014. Ken was the founding chair of the UNOS Kidney Paired Donation program and was involved in the development of a deceased kidney graft Donor Risk Index or KDPI.
