Robin Trupp PhD, ARNP, CHFN

With over 30 years of nursing experience, Dr. Trupp has filled a wide range of professional roles, ranging from staff nurse to nurse manager of open-heart recovery and step down units, to director of the cardiac catheterization laboratories. She is currently employed as a Heart Failure Nurse Practitioner at Duke University in Durham, NC.

Well-published and a national and international speaker, Ms. Trupp presents on a variety of cardiovascular topics including heart failure, disease management, women and cardiovascular disease, the advanced practice nurse’s role in heart failure care, device therapy in heart failure, and improving outpatient standards of care in heart failure. Her doctoral research explored the impact of educational messages on adherence to continuous positive airway pressure therapy in individuals with obstructive sleep apnea and cardiovascular disease.
