Valerie L. Lee DNP, MSN, RN

Valerie Lee has been a member of the Sawtooth ANNA chapter for the past 10 years. She is a past president of the chapter. She has been a nurse for the past 27 years.  She completed her MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Northern Arizona University in 2002 and her DNP degree from the University of South Alabama in 2013. As an advanced practice provider, she has worked in hospital medicine, nephrology, and palliative medicine.  She has studied and experienced the effects of burnout among health care staff members for many years.  She studied the effects of a supportive educational program on fatigue, burnout, and death anxiety, presented to staff members working in outpatient dialysis units. She is looking forward to sharing information from her experience with you today.
