Paula Dutka MSN, RN, CNN
Paula J. Dutka, MSN, RN, CNN, is the Director of Education and Research at Winthrop University Hospital. In this position she is responsible for overseeing educational and research direction for a dialysis network encompassing 4 outpatient chronic sites and 3 acute clinics in the Long Island, NY area. She is also a member of the Winthrop Institutional Review Board. Ms. Dutka received her undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's College and completed her graduate course work at SUNY at Stonybrook. Her research experience in Anemia began with one of the initial clinical trials for EPO and has spanned the years since then with many other major anemia trials including the Normal Hematocrit Study and the CHOIR trial.
