Kathryn Daniel PhD, RN, ANP-BC, GNP-BC

Kathy Daniel is an Adult and Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She is currently faculty at the University of Texas at Arlington in the College of Nursing where she is the Director of the Adult/Gerontologic Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program. Her BSN is from Baylor University, MS in Nursing from Texas Woman's University and post-graduate certificate in Adult/Gero NP as well as PhD are from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her research interests are in Chronic Kidney Disease in the Elderly, technology applications to allow older adults safe independence at home, and how older adults make decisions about technology adoption. She practices as a nurse practitioner in a geriatric primary care practice in Plano Texas which is part of large multispecialy practice, one of the first in Texas to be recognized as a Primary Care Medical Home by NCQA.
