Mabel E. Otamias has been in various fields of nursing here in the United States and abroad. Her professional interests include mental health, nursing history, Community Organizing Participatory Action Reserch (CO-PAR), leadership and management, and diversity and inclusion. She also writes articles on nephrology, professional networking, engagement, and education. She is an active member of the Hazel Taylor chapter.
