In her spare time, Mignon has spent countless hours serving others, volunteering for organizations serving at-risk and minority communities. She is a member of The Links Inc., a non-profit volunteer service organization that has a long tradition of promoting and engaging in educational, civic, and inter-cultural activities that enrich the lives of members of the Black community. Currently she serves as the president of the Greenville, South Carolina, chapter. Mignon is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the first historically African American sorority that partners with local communities as well as regional, national, and international organizations to solve problems as well as provide programs of service at home and abroad.
