David Serur MD

Medical Director of Transplantation, Hackensack Meridian Health

Dr. David Serur served New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell and Rogosin Institute starting in 1991 with an interest in clinical transplantation and was medical director of the kidney transplant program from 2007 to early 2020. In February 2020 he became medical director of transplantation at Hackensack Meridian Health. Dr. Serur serves on the board of directors of the American Foundation for Donation and Transplantation (AFDT). Dr. Serur has been involved in kidney paired exchange since its inception at Cornell in 2008 and has volunteered as medical director of the National Kidney Registry, the largest paired exchange program in the world.
