Faith Lynch is a registered nurse who holds a master’s degree in nursing leadership. She is the nurse manager of acute dialysis at NYU Langone Hospital Long Island. Faith has worked in nephrology nursing for 15 years in both the chronic setting and acute hospital setting, dealing with patients that span from acute kidney injury to end stage kidney disease. Faith is very active in the American Nephrology Nurses Association on both the local and national level. She just stepped out of the Acute Care SPN Leader to pursue her new role in May as chair of the specialty practice networks. Faith has had multiple opportunities to speak for ESRD network, NKF, and her local ANNA chapter on acute dialysis issues. Faith has co-authored multiple Chapters in the 7th edition of the Core Curriculum for Nephrology Nurses textbook as well as a chapter on AKI in the upcoming Contemporary Nephrology Nursing Textbook. She serves on the NNJ Manuscript review Panel and enjoys volunteering her time for nephrology nursing. Faith is on her way to completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree this year from Chamberlain University.
