Katie Cardone, Pharm.D. is an assistant professor of pharmacy practice at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, specializing in nephrology. She is a 2006 graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy, and subsequently completed a nephrology research fellowship at the college. Currently, Dr. Cardone works with patients on dialysis at Rubin Dialysis Centers, and is involved with teaching and research endeavors there. Her research is focused on improving medication use in patients on dialysis. She is active in the nephrology community, and is a member of the NKF Northeast NY Medical Advisory Board, the NY State Chronic Kidney Disease Task Force, and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Nephrology Practice and Research Network.
