Sandra Cupples PhD, RN, FAAN

Dr. Sandra Cupples received her BSN from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, her MSN from Boston University, and her PhD from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. For most of her career she has been a heart transplant coordinator. Most recently she was the director of clinical operations for the Veterans Health Administration's National Surgery Office with oversight of 20 solid organ and 3 bone marrow transplant programs. Dr. Cupples is also a retired Navy Captain, having spent over 20 years as a U.S. Navy nurse.
