Seon Yoon Chung PhD, RN, CNE, CHSE

Dr. Seon Yoon Chung is a Professor at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Nursing in the United States. She has been an RN since 2008 and is passionate about alleviating adverse symptom experience and improving quality of life in older adults with chronic kidney disease. She received her PhD from University of Maryland where she also served as a faculty member. Her expertise is in the influence of human gut microbiome on physiologic underpinnings of symptoms experience, including inflammatory pathways, in older adults with chronic kidney disease and the impact of modifiable factors such as diet and exercise on the underpinnings.
