Kay Wagner DHA, MSN, RN

Dr. Kay Wagner has been a registered nurse since 1985. Her career has spanned over three decades, which has led her down various paths. After some time in the clinical setting, Kay transitioned into leadership which began with house supervision and expanded to managing workforce development for a health system, and then to her current role as the vice president of quality and patient safety for MidMichigan Health in Midland, Michigan. Kay is the business owner of CommuniKay, which began in 1998, and she is the author of the book Kara’s Courage. She has presented professionally at the local, regional, state, and national levels to diverse populations.
