Learning Outcome:
Upon completion of this learning activity, the nephrology nurse will have increased knowledge of state positions with respect to the administration of heparin and saline via peripheral and central lines by patient care technicians (PCTs) and licensed practical nurses/licensed vocational nurses (LPNs/LVNs) in the hemodialysis setting.
