Description

Caring for peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients is fraught with possible complications, including infection. This session examines common infectious agents as well as the recommended guidelines for treating common infections. The session also focuses on peritonitis as an infectious complication and its treatment in patients receiving automated PD (APD) versus those receiving continuous ambulatory PD (CAPD).
