Description

This session focuses on elevating the role of direct care in nephrology nursing and creating healthy and fulfilling work environments that encourage nurses to practice in direct care roles. The faculty discuss recruiting and retaining nephrology nurses with emphasis on specific populations such as experienced nephrology nurses and nurses new to nephrology nursing, including new graduate RNs. The highlight is meaningful tips based on research that can make a difference in addressing this major issue to ensure the next generation of nephrology nurses.
