Are you caring for older patients in your practice? Do you wonder if elderly patients have unique care issues? This workshop will answer that question by focusing on how to assess physical, psychosocial, and cognitive function and determine changes in patients that are a normal result of aging versus those that should raise concerns. The session also will address what clinicians should know about geriatric patients with CKD stages 3 and 4 and those requiring renal replacement therapy as well as how age impacts these issues.
