The obesity epidemic has had a vast impact on health care in the United States. The prevalence of this disease process on the CKD and pre-transplant patient influences health outcomes and needs to be addressed prior to the transplant process. Developing and implementing a program for weight loss in pre-transplant candidates to improve their long-term success is analyzed. Contact hours available until 9/27/2014.
