Description

Amyloidosis is a syndrome that has negative consequences for renal function. Although not common, individuals caring for renal patients should be aware of this disease and its pathophysiology. This session focuses on the disease and treatment strategies related to the associated kidney impairment. The role of the advanced practice nurse is stressed throughout this presentation.
