Hospitalization is hazardous to anyone’s health but can be downright dangerous for older adults. More than 36% of those admitted experience at least one iatrogenic event. Geriatric syndromes triggered by hospital care processes can produce devastating functional decline. This session discusses strategies to protect older adults during hospitalization.

Very informative and realistic information provided. this presentation should be done at hospital level. Neprology team at hospital would benefit from this and it would be a great benefit for our elderly population.
