Individuals with multiple chronic diseases often deal with dietary and nutritional challenges. Recipes and tools to promote proper nutrition as well as educational tips for patients and significant others are shared.

Working with chronic and acute dialysis population, nutrition plays a vital role in the health and well being of patients; The co-morbidities, as well as social and environmental factors contribute to the challenges faced. There are many nutritional supplements and support services available to the health care team to provide education to patients and families. My facility provides teaching handouts and "lobby" days to get all involved in maintaining nutritional support and facing challenges directly
