This session involves a short presentation on the mechanics of both initiating and conducting a family discussion about an elderly family member’s goals of care. Session participants also engage in practicing goals of care discussions with standardized patients.

Was a seminar I myself needed as my mother needs support and direction with her dementia. I realized I am probably controlling a little to much and need to find out what her goals are.. Great learning tool for me to use with my patients as well.
