Description

Intelligence quotient (IQ), social intelligence, emotional intelligence. What are the differences and why do we care? For too long we have used IQ as a determinant of whether someone will be a successful leader, and this has not served us well. This session examines emotional intelligence: what it is and how it is imperative for leaders in today's health care systems to use it. Case studies illustrating emotional intelligence are also shared.
