The Practice of Competent Leadership

Apr 27, 2009 12:15pm ‐ Apr 27, 2009 1:15pm

Standard: $40.00
Members: $30.00

Description

Being a competent leader involves more than just coming to work each day. This session addresses the core principles of leadership competency. It is often stated that being a leader would be easy if dealing with people wasn’t part of the job description; but since leadership involves interacting effectively with others, this session covers methods for approaching people management issues. Strategic goals for leadership, how to apply these strategies in daily practice, and finding a support network are also covered.

Speaker(s):

  • Diana Hlebovy, BSN, RN, CHN, CNN, Director of Clinical Affairs - Hemametrics
