010a - The RN as Educator: Creating a Patient Safety Culture in Nephrology Nurse Practice Settings

Description

This workshop offers information for all RNs – those who educate other professionals as well as patients. Ever feel like you keep repeating yourself when providing patient education? Want to know how to teach patients about home hemodialysis (and the differences between in-center and home dialysis)? How do we make the transition with patients to consider peritoneal dialysis first? All of these questions are answered. In addition, Dr. Beth Ulrich discusses how to improve “high-risk” and “low volume” issues that impact patient safety.

Requirements for Successful Completion:
Complete the learning activity in its entirety and complete the online CNE evaluation. You will be able to print your CNE certificate at any time after you complete the evaluation.
