Description

Chronic kidney disease patients using home hemodialysis are increasing in numbers across the United States. This session will examine the benefits of home hemodialysis for patients, providers, and payers. In order to make this modality available to patients who may benefit from it, Ms. Schatell will provide examples of the challenges faced in identifying the appropriate dialysis modality for each patient. The MATCH tool, used to determine the best form of dialysis for a patient, will be discussed. Come learn about home hemodialysis and how we can determine whether it would be the best match for our patients.
