This comprehensive workshop begins with an overview of wound assessment, treatment, and skin failure, particularly in renal patients with concomitant diseases. Discussion then focuses on skin/tissue concerns and wounds associated with herpes zoster and calciphylaxis as well as the implications for nursing care.
