Do most outpatient clinics provide educational classes to new and existing patients? or Do they only receive education as they are receiving their dialysis treatments? If they are provided with educational classes what are some of the topics being taught? I have only ever worked in an Acutes setting since becoming a dialysis nurse and I am not that familiar with the outpatient clinic setting.
This is my first symposium that I got the privilege to attend as a LeaRN award from DaVita! These educational sessions reminded me how important to continue my education so that I can provide better care for my patients and be a better nurse. I hope that I can continue to be an ANNA member in the future so that I can also continue to grow as a person and further my career.
ne of my sessions on how practice will be changed. Hope to see more of this content at future conferences.
loved this conference
Hope all of our patients and TMS be 100% vaccinated
So empowering speaker.
HELLO! I'm an ANNA scholarship recipient, a BSN February new grad, and as of this week an RN.
Does anyone know of new grad opportunities in nephrology in the North San Diego County area? Thanks so much!
Another great presentation to learn and share. We are all in the same boat. Thank you all for sharing. Sending air hugs and prayers to you all from me.
Hello! The Home Therapies SPN is looking for two HHD nurses to join us for the 21-22 year. Volunteers usually spend 3 hours a month for the SPN. One year uninterrupted membership in ANNA is required, and some expertise in the subspecialty.
We are also in need of a leader for our group, which required two years membership in ANNA.
Please contact me at fieldtriplady@hotmail.com to further discuss if you are interested.
Thank you, Tricia Patterson
