This session features a patient’s journey from in-center hemodialysis to home hemodialysis, including adjustments to the dialysis prescription to enable the patient to feel healthy and energized rather than drained and exhausted. Steps throughout the journey, such as self-cannulation, are shared so the nephrology nurse can appreciate the perspective from the other side of the bed.
