Objectives:

  1. Identify the key reasons why living kidney donor transplantation in the African-American population is of particular interest to researchers.
  2. Describe motivating factors for individuals to become living kidney donors.
  3. Explain the positive and negative effects experienced by African-American living kidney donors as reported by this study.
