Diane M. Derkowski MA, RN, CNN, CCTC

Diane Derkowski has been employed as a kidney transplant coordinator at Atrium Health- Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina since 1999. Diane has served in various roles in ANNA since 1990 and currently serves as the Best Practice Advisor for the Transplant Specialty Practice Network (SPN). She also serves as the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) Representative for ANNA. Diane has many years of experience educating nurses and patients about kidney transplantation. She has been a presenter at past ANNA National Symposiums, a Section Editor for the Nephrology Nursing Certification Review Guide, a Chapter Reviewer for the Transplant section of the Contemporary Nephrology Nursing and the Core Curriculum for Nephrology Nursing, and has published in the Nephrology Nursing Journal. Diane is both a Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) and a Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC).
