Sheila Doss graduated from Methodist Medical School of Nursing in St. Joseph Missouri in 1977 receiving her Diploma in Nursing and her BSN in 2009 from the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, KS. She has 25 years of nephrology experience in the areas of acute dialysis, chronic hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, management and research. She has been employed by Satellite Healthcare, Inc. since 1984 and currently holds the position of Nursing Director of Research and oversees management of the Research Division and conduct of studies focusing on the various modalities of renal replacement therapy for patients with ESRD as well as CV mortality in this population. She holds certifications as a Certified Nephrology Nurse and Certified Clinical Research Associate. She is an active member in the American Nephrology Nurses Association, currently holding the position of Western Region Chapters Coordinator and incoming Chapters Coordinator-Elect.
